Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name of Winona Laura Hoowitz who was who was born within Winona Minnesota. Parents named her Winona after her home town. The father of her Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder believes she is Jewish and descends from Ryder's Jewish father. Uria is Ryder's younger sister. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are Ryder's half-siblings. Ryder and her family relocated to California's Mendocino County in the year 2000, when Ryder was seven. In those days, there was no electricity. Ryder became an avid read because they had no TV. Ryder began taking acting classes when Ryder was twelve years old, and was enrolled in classes at the American Conservatory Theatre. Lucas was dismissed in the year 1986 and Ryder, then barely 15 years old, landed an acting job as a lead actress. Ryder had to deal with bullying throughout her time in high school. Her thought was that by becoming an actor, her bullying would be changed. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. Still, she pursued her dream. Her breakthrough was in 1988 when she appeared in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to play numerous roles that were successful. In 1993, she was awarded an Oscar Awards in the film The Age of Innocence.
