Nancy Wilson is a Grammy Award award-winning jazz musician. Her birth date was February 20, 1937, in the city of Chillicothe, Ohio to Olden Wilson who was a worker in an ironworks, and Lillian Ryan, a former domestic employee. Nancy was the first child of six. Nancy was heavily influenced by her father's taste in music and the records that were played in her home. When she was young she had already developed the impression of who she was and what she hoped to accomplish. The choir at church encouraged her to develop the talent. After high school when she started appearing regularly on Skyline Melodies. She was 15 when won the TV talent show. At nightclubs, she began working at age 15. Nancy was just 17 when she graduated highschool. After enrolling at Ohio Central State College - now Central State University - for only one semester Nancy left to be a professional performer. She made her first recording with the Rusty Bryants Carolyn Club Big Band, which she sang with between 1956 and 1958. Nancy made her debut album via Dot Records during the time she spent in this band. Cannonball Adderley urged her to move into New York in order to advance her career. The city she went to was The Big Town, New York in 1959. Within a month she got a gig singing at The Blue Morocco Night Club located on Boston Road in The Bronx where Adderley's agent heard her, and she was signed. His agent signed her with Capitol in 1960. She made her debut that year. Guess Who You Saw Today. Capitol Records released 5 Nancy Wilson albums over a time span of 2 years. At first, she focused on blues and rhythm under the influence of Adderley, she shifted away from R&B and began to embrace music from jazz and torch. The 1962 group collaboration of Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley helped propel her to fame and she had her breakout smash Tell Me the Truth in 1963. Following that year, she was invited to perform at New York's Coconut Grove, the most prestigious nightclub in America.
Maisie Richardson Sellers is an actress working in television and films. Her most well-known role is the actress playing Chloe Winthrop (the lead) in Netflix's The Kissing Booth. She portrayed Michal who was her daughter from King Saul in ABC's Biblical series Of Kings and Prophets. Her other TV role includes The Originals, Legends of Tomorrow, Group Chat with Annie and Jayden, among others. In the year 2015, Korr Sella was featured as an extra as a cameo Short Wars The Force Awakens. In the Netflix Original Movie The Kissing Booth Season 2 or 3 she played Chloe Winthrop.
