The jazz singer Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award-winner was born on February 20 1937 in Ohio, Chillicothe. She was the daughter of iron worker Olden Wilson and his wife Lillian Ryan who worked as a domestic servant. Nancy Wilson was first baby of six. In just a few months she had been singing at The Blue Morocco Night Club situated on Boston Road near The Bronx. Adderley's representative saw her singing and instantly signed her.
