Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th October 1992) is an Indian actress. She is a regular in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She was awarded the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri as the lead actress in the Telugu Film Mahanati (2018). She has also received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents include film producer G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her initial career path was a children's actress. After completing her studies in Fashion Design, she re-entered acting. Her first big character in Geethaanjali (2013), an Malayalam feature film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy started working on films that weren't Malayalam in the year 2015. She also signed up to star in several Tamil films simultaneously. The director it was A. L. Vijay, alongside Vikram, who released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The film didn't fare much, but it was released. To accommodate larger projects, due to her crazier schedule, she was forced to opt to not participate in certain films which she started to work on. It included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a romance) as well as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the end, she made two films together with Sivakarthikeyan quickly, Rajini Murugan and Remo as well as playing the lead role for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari along with Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to be Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The release of the film was delayed in 2015 and will now occur after September in 2020. The film will be released under an alternative title Janakitho Nenu. The debut film came out as Nenu Sailaja in the year 2016 with the actor Ram Pothineni. In January, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa in a film starring actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan.
