Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian Actress who is best known as a main character in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters and Venevision Television series Cosita linda & Voltea Pa' que te enamores. Emeraude Toubia is also a skilled model and dancer. She hails from Montreal, but grew up studying in Texas. Her passion for dancing has been in her since she was a child. As a little girl, she began training in diverse forms of dance. In her teens, she took part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous in 2008 when she appeared in Nuestra Belleza Latina's second season. It was which is a Univision beauty contest series. In 2010, she began acting in a role as a receptionist in the Telemundo episode. In 2015 she starred in her debut movie, the action-drama Tattooed Love. Toubia was recognized for her performance on Shadowhunters, Toubia was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi in 2017 and 2018.
